David previously he worked for BBC 5-live for 8 years, during which time he presented Sport on 5, covered the 2002 World Cup and the 2004 Olympic Games. David also reported on Football, Cricket, Golf, Motor Racing and Horse Racing. After being sent to cover the World Darts Championship in 2002, Crofty returned to working for BBC Television and has worked alongside the legendary Tony Green in the commentary box ever since. David's excellent commentary skills have recently seen him commentate on The Race for Sky One and the Red Bull Track Attack for ITV.
